What is the Auto Dog brush petite
An automatic brush with a brushband containing 75 rows of pins, similar to the pins on an Activet / Les Pooches brush, that makes steady brushing movements at a rate of 34 per minute.
Does the ADB petite not hurt my animal's skin?
No, we are far too fond of animals to use anything that would hurt them!
The brush has been extensively tested including on its own head.
The brush pins are flexible and do not stick out.
Let the brush do its work without pressure.
Of course, you should not hold the brush in one place for minutes on end.
The brushband of the ADB Petite consists of 75 rows of brushpins, which are placed at an angle to the skin and follow each other continuously.
Due to the angled position, the ADB Petite brushes according to the so-called line-brushing method.
Each row of brush pins lifts a few hairs at a time out of a tangled web, then the next, then the next, and so on, loosening the tangles and eventually brushing them away completely.
Doesn’t the ADB Petite damage the coat?
The ADB Petite’s brush strip consists of 75 rows of bristles that are angled relative to the skin and follow one another continuously.
Because of this angle, the ADB Petite brushes using the so-called “layer method” (line-brushing).
Each row of bristles lifts a few hairs at a time from a tangle, followed by the next row and the next, and this process continues continuously, causing tangles to loosen and eventually be brushed out completely.
How do I brush with the ADB Petite?
There are roughly 2 methods
Method I This method can be used for regular brushing or when the coat is less tangled.
With long strokes from top to bottom, make overlapping strips over the body of your animal.
Method II This method is best used on animals with a rather tangled, somewhat felted coat or on those with an undercoat or heavily curled coat.
You brush the coat layer by layer from under your hands, working in a conveniently arranged pattern for yourself.
We find that lying on the side on a (trim) table is easiest.

Is the ADB petite suitable for animals with an undercoat?
Yes, the ADB petite combs out the loose hairs without difficulty.
An often time-consuming task, but with the ADB petite this is much quicker.
With this type of coat, we do recommend the special ADB hoover hose so that your brush is less likely to be clogged with hair.
My cat? Can I use it on my cat, too?
Yes, definitely—the ADB Petite combs so gently, which makes the brush suitable for smaller animals like cats and rabbits.
Anything with a coat about 5 to 15 cm long.
Does this mean I don’t have to go to the grooming salon anymore?
The ADB Petite isn’t a substitute for a grooming session, but it is an ideal brush for keeping the coat
free of mats between grooming sessions.
It’s a task that takes quite a bit of time, but hopefully you’ll enjoy doing it more now!

Is the ADB Petite safe?
The brush has been thoroughly tested and approved.
It also has an automatic safety feature that immediately stops the brush if a tail, an ear or your scarf accidentally gets caught in it.
Does the ADB petite make a lot of noise?
The sound is similar to that of clippers.
Does the ADB petite work on batteries?
No, the ADB petite works on electricity, i.e. plugs in the wall socket.
However, an external power bank for the ADB Petite will be available as an accessory in the near future.
That way, you can brush wherever you want, such as the garden, if there is no electrical outlet nearby.
Do I need to connect the ADB Petite to my vacuum cleaner?
You don’t have to, but you can.
Using a separately available universal hose, you can connect the ADB Petite to your own vacuum cleaner, allowing you to immediately vacuum up all dander, dust, and loose hair while brushing.
We recommend it for coats with an undercoat or if you’re sensitive to
fine hairs and dust.
Can I order the parts for the ADB Petite separately?
